Details on Safety Distances:
Refer to the “Installation Manual” of your Stove for specific information on safety distances.
If the appliance is used with both wood and pellets, the larger safety distances to combustible materials must be applied.
Note on Chimney Sizing:
Proof that the appliance’s exhaust gases are safely discharged under all operating conditions must be provided in accordance with DIN EN 13384-1 or DIN EN 13384-2. Calculations must be performed for each type of fuel, and the discharge conditions must be verified. For the technical sizing of the exhaust system, the triplet values from the type tests with the respective fuel apply. For appliances operated exclusively with one fuel type (either firewood or pellets), the calculation needs to be performed only for that specific fuel.
Approved Fuel:
Only wood pellets compliant with DIN EN 14961-2 (A1) are permitted.
